GliaNed Meeting 2025

On January 23, GliaNed hosted its annual meeting for 2025, bringing together a full room of researchers from across the Netherlands. The program opened with an inspiring keynote lecture from Anne-Marie van Dam, who shared insights into her past, present, and future work on microglia. The day also featured a strong lineup of presentations from students, postdocs, and principal investigators, highlighting the breadth and depth of glia research taking place nationwide.

In addition to the main talks, attendees contributed 18 blitz presentations and posters, creating a vibrant atmosphere for discussion and exchange. It was excellent to see both familiar colleagues and many new faces engaging with the community. The level of enthusiasm and the quality of the science underscored the continued growth of glia research in the Netherlands, and we look forward to building on this momentum in the year ahead.
